Review by Tranzmission TV Never Sun
I have been waiting for this release since the release of the "Mutual Bonding Through Violation" demo E.P., and man, was this worth the wait. This is by far the most brutal attack on cross genre mixing I have heard in a long damn time. I can’t define these artists with much of anything out there right now; if I had too, I would say powernoise except this is a bit more complex.
Lets explore the "Transhuman" album starting with the cons - NONE. Opening the CD is "Frequency In Cycles", the end drop is an indication of what to expect after a short 1 minute warning. "Order Out Of Chaos", my favorite on the CD, is a hard and brutal attack on anything you may be familiar with. The following is a CD that will crush your senses and disarm any thoughts you may have about new or fresh music being produced. Not overloaded with sounds, loops or samples that leave you in a droning state, but a listening experience that is harsh, warm, provoking, loud, obscene, honest and real.
Bound by only their own sight and mind, Cyanotic's release of "Transhuman" crushes every boundary that lies between genres, sub-genres, and sub-genres of the prior sub-genre. Warning to the power noise and aggressive industrial genres, there is a new kid on the block and he is armed and dangerous! Visit their site and pick-up this CD you will not be sorry, I will personally offer a money back guarantee. (not really). Just get it!
