Our Role Models are Machines

Review by Side Line Magazine

Hailing from The States this duo sounds like a particular music alien. Cyanotic sounds like 2 musicians who went mad by the implant of a turbo-reactor engine! The influences are moving from electronics to jungle, but the final mixture definitely sounds hard-core minded!

Their sound is brutal and merciless and reminds me of some experiments of the late 80s / early 90s like Klute, Numb and 16 Volt... but in a heavier and more furious way! Tracks like “Order Out Of Chaos” and “Antithesis” will literally blow your brains away! If you survive that, a few more songs will show you a softer and more ‘musical’ way of composing. It remains aggressive and sung in a heavy distorted way, like the vocals have been transposed in a wall of noise!

I personally prefer this approach and especially on cuts like “Deface” and the “Suspension Of Disbelief” remix by Ceoxime! This is definitely an experience to expose your nerves and brains to a high degree of tolerance and loudness!
